The Story of LEGENDARY Inc. / LEGENDARY GROUP

LEGENDARY Inc. was established in 2011 by three entrepreneurial university students with brilliant minds and ambitious dreams. Initially, the company focused on IT-based solutions, importing high-tech gadgets from China and providing 3D solutions across Bangladesh. LEGENDARY quickly rose to prominence, becoming one of the top 5 online startup companies in the country.

In 2014, with mutual understanding, co-founder and Managing Director Engr. Mahabub Alam Shaan took over ownership of the company. Under his leadership, LEGENDARY expanded into the amusement park equipment industry, becoming the first importer of virtual reality equipment in Bangladesh. This strategic move led to the opening of two showrooms in Bangladesh’s largest shopping malls—Bashundhara City and Jamuna Future Park. LEGENDARY also gained recognition at numerous national events, including the prestigious ICT Expo. Around the same time, the company ventured into export, serving several clients in the United States.

At the end of 2015, LEGENDARY entered the construction and mega project supply sectors in Bangladesh, with the Dhaka Metro Rail project being one of its major clients. The company successfully partnered with several foreign companies operating in Bangladesh, fostering international collaboration that continues to this day.

In 2016, LEGENDARY launched its manufacturing division, introducing scaffolding materials and services to Bangladesh under the brand "LEGENDARY Scaffolding Factory." The company now operates two scaffolding factories—one on its own land in Gazipur Sadar and another in Jatrabari.

By 2018, LEGENDARY expanded further with the establishment of LEGENDARY STEEL, a premier Pre-Engineered Steel Building manufacturer specializing in structural design, fabrication, supply, and erection of prefabricated steel structures. This venture has led to the successful completion of several remarkable projects in steel structure construction.

In 2020, LEGENDARY inaugurated its new head office in the prime business district of Gulshan 1, Dhaka. The company shifted its focus towards government construction projects, starting with LGED (Local Government Engineering Department) and gradually extending its reach to other government sectors.

In 2021, LEGENDARY opened a regional office in Chittagong and diversified into heavy equipment rental, container sales, and barge and excavator rentals. It also became one of the leading wholesalers of steel items in the country.

Looking to the future, the Managing Director envisioned the establishment of LEGENDARY STEEL INDUSTRY, which is currently under development. This project aims to solidify LEGENDARY’s position as a key player in the steel manufacturing sector.

Today, LEGENDARY Inc. has grown into a dynamic group of companies, excelling in multiple sectors, including IT, construction, steel structures, scaffolding, and more.
